Frida Kahlo Exhibit

Daniels Center For The Arts will be displaying a Traveling Exhibit featuring the incredible Mexican paintings of Frida Kahlo. Frida was married to Mexican muralist Diego Rivera but won acclaim for her own paintings, including many self-portraits. The audience will enjoy the beautiful reproductions, including life size photos of Frida, from August 12th to 22nd 2010. The exhibit celebrates fine art, women and man in art and Mexican culture!

The Frida Kahlo traveling exhibit will be featured at the main lobby of Daniels Center For The Arts along with merchandise, posters, books and memorabilia about the artist for sale.

Other Mexican and Latin artist’s original paintings will be featured including a engraved portrait of Kahlo by Uruguayan artist Ana Baxter, paintings by Mexican artists Adriana Zornoza DuBois and Jorge Flores among others.

Imported Mexican accessories, clay vases, jars, talavera and more will also be available for sale during the ten days event.
